SCULPTURE, FOOD & WINE LONG WEEKEND

27 APRIL – 30 APRIL, 2023 

To celebrate the unveiling of five new sculptures on the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail, Sculpture by the Sea will host a four-day Sculpture, Food & Wine Long Weekend from 27-30 April. Showcasing local growers, harvest celebrations and dining experiences, the weekend will bring together sculpture, food and wine set among the stunning Snowy Valleys region of southern New South Wales.

Explore the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail while enjoying the food and wine of this stunning region of southern New South Wales. 

Highlights of the Four Day Long Weekend with ticketed and free events include:

THURSDAY 27 APRIL

  Viewing the sculptures at Courabyra Wines followed by a Meet the Artists Lunch

FRIDAY 28 APRIL

  Jina Lee and Sasha Reid sculpture unveilings, Batlow/
6.30pm  A Harvest Party Celebration evening among the sculptures at Johansen Wines

SATURDAY 29 APRIL
11.30am
  Kaoru Matsumoto sculpture unveiling in the grounds of the Adelong Services Club/
12noon  The Riverina Light Horse Troop joining the tour of the sculptures and sculpture unveiling along Adelong Creek Walk /
6.00pm  Paddock to Plate ‘Feast with the Farmers Fireside‘ Dinner at Café Nest in Tumbarumba

SUNDAY 30 APRIL

  onwards Wine Tasting throughout the day at Obsession Wines, 110 Allawah Road, Maragle/
12.30-2.30pm  Brigham House, Tooma will open its doors to view their indoor collection


MEET THE ARTISTS LUNCH

THURSDAY 27 APRIL
12.30pm  Viewing the sculptures at Courabyra Wines, 805 Courabyra Road, Tumbarumba
Tickets  $80 per person

Enjoy a 3 course long lunch at the beautiful Courabyra Wines cellar door restaurant with the opportunity to meet some of the international and Australian artists included in the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail.

Included in your ticket is a drink and canapes on arrival, followed by an alternate main course, dessert and tea and coffee.

HARVEST PARTY CELEBRATION

FRIDAY 28 APRIL
6.30pm – 10.30pm  Evening among the sculptures at Johansen Wines, 90 Black Range Road, Tumbarumba
Tickets  $100 (plus booking fee) per person

Celebrating their inaugural Harvest celebration. Johansen Wines will be showcasing their latest wine releases and providing a wonderful evening of food, drinks, and entertainment. This year, they are pleased to partner with Mundays Catering, who will be serving up delicious canapés throughout the night.

FEAST WITH THE FARMERS FIRESIDE DINNER

SATURDAY 29 APRIL
6.00pm  Paddock to Plate Feast with the Farmers Fireside Dinner at Café Nest, 56 Winton Street, Tumbarumba
Tickets  $95 per person

Enjoy a warming Mulled wine/cider and canapes on arrival followed by a three course shared banquet dinner around long tables showcasing Snowy Valleys and seasonal produce. Creating conversation around food, wine and art with guest speakers and cinematic stories. $95pp includes four courses and welcome drink.

FALLING LEAF FESTIVAL, TUMUT

The Falling Leaf Festival is a celebration of everything Tumut and surrounds has to offer at this magical time of year.
