‘The Sound of Sky – The Physical Ring VI’, TUMUT

Location:  Tumut

Statement:  This work is conceived not simply as a visual object but is one of a series of attempts I have made to explore what makes up the deep interactions with an acoustic outdoor environment.

Biography:  MFA Kyoto Municipal University of Fine Art. Major group exhibitions include UBE International Sculpture Biennale, Tokiwa Museum, Japan 2013. Sculpture Rocks, Sydney 2021. Recipient Special Selection Award, Busan Biennale Sea Art Festival South Korea 2011. Represented in collections including MONA Tasmania. Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 7 times since 2007. Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe 8 times since 2011.


Stage one of the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail was jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Government’s Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund, under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
