Artist Statement: Things do not move. But it has not been there from the beginning. It came from somewhere. And it stayed there, now quiet. Traces of movement can be seen in shapes of things that do not move.

Biography: MFA Kyoto City University of Arts 1985. Awarded the Neil Balnaves AO 25th Anniversary Prize Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 2023. Award of Excellence Asago Museum Sculpture Exhibition 2013. Grand Prix Kumamoto Biennale 2004 and Grand Prix Asago Art Village Prize 2003. Sculpture Rocks, Sydney 2021. Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 5 times since 2014. Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe 9 times since 2014.
