Marcus Tatton (New Zealand | Tasmania)

‘Habitat’

Location: Tumbarumba

Biography: Marcus Tatton is a New Zealand artist living and working in Tasmania. He holds a BFA in Furniture Design from the University of Tasmania and his work is represented in collections around the world, including Toyama Prefecture, Japan; University of Western Sydney; Royal Tasmanian Botanic Gardens; Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery; and the Ronald C Wornick Collection, San Francisco, USA.

Tatton was the recipient of the Helen Lempriere Scholarship for Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 2011 and has exhibited at Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 13 times since 2004, at Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe four times since 2011 and at Sculpture by the Sea, Aarhus three times since 2009.
