Metamorphosis – inside out (Cube), TUMUT

Location: Tumut

Statement: This is a cube made up of 12 corten steel plates with each plate inverted. Only one side is coloured. By moving your awareness from one surface to the next, you will begin to see magical spaces.

Biography:  MFA Tokyo Zokei University 1986. Represented in public and private collections including Nihon-Kokka-En, Asago Sculpture Park and in New Zealand. Numerous solo and group exhibitions including UBE International Sculpture Biennale 2009 and Kajima Sculpture Competition Tokyo 2016. Sculpture Rocks, Sydney 2021. Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 7 times since 2014. Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe 6 times since 2015.


Stage one of the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail was jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Government’s Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund, under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
