‘Spirit Run’, Sculpture Forest

Location: Alpine Ash Walk, Bago Forest, Sculpture Forest

Biography: Akira Kamada studied photography and painting in Japan before migrating to Australia. With a background in Zen garden design and landscaping, he studied ceramics and sculpture in Sydney. H. Clitheroe Foundation Mentorship Recipient 2008. Exhibiting artist at Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi six times since 2006 and Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe four times since 2011.


Stage one of the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail was jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Government’s Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund, under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
