“The sky spreads above, the earth expands horizontally, and the sea deepens below. Like windows sculptures mediate between separate spaces. So the environment where sculptures are placed operates as one of the most important factors. Sculpture by the Sea, a point of intersection of three different expanses, has inspired me to make sculptures. I thank Sculpture by the Sea for giving me such occasions.”
