Aged Care, Community and Youth Programs

These program provide opportunities for mental and physical activity and enables interaction with the wider community.

AGED CARE PROGRAM: In partnership with Lotterywest and Aged Care providers, a structured program of assisted community access will be delivered for aged care residents, including transport to the exhibition and a guided tour tailored to participants abilities. Later in the year, a sculpture workshop will be provided to the participants at their aged care providers residence.

COMMUNITIES PROGRAM: An exhibition tour program has been developed for people who would not have the opportunity to experience the exhibition and meet with an exhibiting artist, because of their location, the inability to secure transportation and the logistics of visiting the exhibition.

YOUTH PROGRAM: A program has been developed in conjunction with marginalised youth organisations, targeting disadvantaged young people, who would otherwise not have the opportunity to experience international art and be involved in producing their own art. The intention is for the program to support young people in their creative thinking process, to allow them to understand the role of art in their lives and provide them with life skills that can develop from the creative process.
