Thank you to Transfield Holdings for 20 years of sponsorship. Since 2003, Transfield has sponsored many aspects of the exhibition including kinetic artists and install machinery costs for the artists, benefiting almost every artist in the exhibition. In previous years, artists had to meet these costs themselves.
The Transfield Australian Invited Artist Program funds two major new works each year for Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi supporting the careers of leading sculptors.
In 2024, Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi Major Partner Transfield and Sculpture by the Sea were pleased to announce two respected sculptors as recipients of the Transfield Australian Invited Artists Program of $15,000 each: Patricia McTaggart Marrfurra OAM (NT) and Mark Stoner (VIC).
