WELCOME TO THE LOTTERYWESTACCESS & INCLUSION PROGRAM

Free of charge events for visitors with disability, aged care residents, marginalised community and youth groups.

Bookings for all tours are essential as there are a limited number of places per tour.


BEACH ACCESS DAYS

Special matting will be installed to allow visitors with reduced mobility or who use wheelchairs to access sculptures exhibited on the beach.

When  Wednesday 11 March – Thursday 19 March 2026 inclusive.
Visitor service assistants will be on site to meet and greet, direct and inform visitors from 9.30am-6.30pm.

Additional St. John Ambulance resources will be on hand specifically for the Beach Access Days.

TACTILE TOURS FOR VISITORS WITH DISABILITY

Weekday Tours:  10.15am & 11.30am Monday 9 – Friday 20 March 2026
Evening tours:  6pm Thursdays 12 & 19 March 2026
Weekend tours:  10.15am & 11.30am Saturday 14 March 2026

AUSLAN Interpreted Tactile Tour:  10.15am Wednesday 18 March 2026. Bookings essential.

Duration: All Tactile Tours last approximately one hour.

Location: Meet your Access Tour Guide (who will be wearing a blue Sculpture by the Sea t-shirt) at the ‘Tactile Tours Meeting Point’ sign located next to the accessible entrance on Marine Parade.

Bookings for Tactile Tours are essential.

AGED CARE, COMMUNITY AND YOUTH PROGRAMS

These programs provide opportunities for improved social and emotional well-being, physical activity and connection with community.

AGED CARE PROGRAM

In partnership with Lotterywest and Aged Care providers, this program is for aged care residents. It includes transport to the exhibition and an Artist-led Guided Tour of select sculptures on display. Later in the year, a sculpture workshop will be provided to the participants at their aged care providers residence.

Morning Tours:  10am and 11.15am
Monday 9 March – Friday 13 March 2026
Monday 16 March – Friday 20 March 2026

Duration:  All Aged Care Program Tours last approximately 35-minutes but can be adapted according to the needs of the group.

 

COMMUNITIES PROGRAM

Designed for community groups who would not otherwise have the opportunity to visit the exhibition because of their location or lack of transport. It includes transport to Cottesloe and a Tactile Tour of the exhibition.

Weekday Tours:  10.15am & 11.30am
Monday 9 March – Friday 20 March 2026

Duration:  Tours last approximately 50-minutes but can be adapted according to the needs of the group.

 

YOUTH PROGRAM

Developed in conjunction with marginalised youth organisations, this program allows groups of young people and their support people the opportunity to visit the exhibition and respond to the sculptures with an Artist-led Tour.  Later in the year, a series of sculpture workshops that support creative thinking processes will be provided to the participants.

Tours: The day, time and duration of the tour will be determined based on the requirements of your group.

The Sculpture by the Sea Access & Inclusion Program offers manual wheelchair loan from Exhibition Reception ( available from 7am daily during the exhibition, bookings possible but not guaranteed).
