With thanks to NRMA Insurance, we are pleased to once again offer our School Education Program for Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 2026, running from Friday 16 October to Monday 2 November. The program offers unique out-of-classroom learning experiences through artist-led sculpture workshops with opportunities for students to engage directly with exhibiting artists and their work.
Location: Tamarama
Dates: Weekdays throughout the exhibition (16 – 30 October)
Times: 10am – 11.30am; 12.30pm – 2pm (90mins) (two workshops are run in each time-slot)
Cost: $500 per workshop. This includes artist fee and a Kids’ Guide for each student (maximum 30 students in each workshop).
A guided exploration of a selection of sculptures that encourages students to observe, question and respond to contemporary sculpture in a unique outdoor setting. Through discussion and close looking, students develop an understanding of the ideas, materials and processes behind each artwork, while exploring the relationships between artist, artwork, site and audience. Tours foster critical and creative thinking and provide opportunities for students to engage with a range of artistic perspectives and contemporary issues.

Times: 9.30am – 10.30am; 11am – 12pm; 12.30pm – 1.30pm (60 mins)
Cost: $220 per tour group (maximum 15 students in each group)

Registered teachers will receive updates on the Education Program, along with practical information including the exhibition map, bus drop-off and pick-up locations, and other resources to help plan their excursion.
