Submissions for Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe 2027 are now open!

Submissions for the 22nd Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe to be staged on Perth’s beautiful Cottesloe Beach, Western Australia from 5 – 22 March 2027, are now open! All types, forms and sizes of sculpture, in all materials, are eligible for entry into Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe 2026 and submissions are open to senior through to emerging artists alike.

Entries close 11:59pm Thursday 20 August 2026 (Australian Western Standard Time). 


ARTIST SUPPORT, AWARDS AND SUBSIDIES

Each year the Sculpture by the Sea team work hard to generate artist awards and subsidies for exhibiting artists, many of which are finalised throughout the year. Awards and subsidies confirmed to date for 2026:

  • The Mostyn Family Foundation Artist Subsidy of $5,000;
  • Pommery Champagne Artist Award of $5,000; and
  • Kids’ Choice Prize of $2,000.

For Australian Artists only:

An Artist Cost Contribution of up to $4,500 to Australian Artists who exhibit in both Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe 2026 and ‘Sculpture Inside’. See Terms & Conditions for details.

Please note that Artists do not need to apply separately for subsidies and awards. Recipients will be notified directly. Please read the Terms & Conditions document for more information.
