Tim Haynes Announced Recipient of the Capral Artist Subsidy

Western Australian artist, Tim Haynes who is a first-time exhibitor at Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe is the recipient of The Capral Artist Subsidy of $5,000. Haynes presents his work titled ‘the Ghost of Van Eileen’ which is a reflection on memory, place, and cultural disappearance. The Ghost of Van Eileen honours a beloved Cottesloe burger van, exploring how everyday icons shape community identity, and what’s lost when they are erased by development.

This exhibition Capral Aluminium has provided material support through 6 tonnes of Aluminium to nine artists including, Vaughn Bisschops, Dr.Jon tarry, Ayesha Singh, April Pine, Anton Lord, Steve Tepper, Tim Hayes, Jason Hirst and Anne Neil and assisted them throughout the design, supply, processing & fabrication process.
