Thanks to the support of Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe Founding Sponsor and Major Partner Alcoa, we are pleased to announce the recipient of the Alcoa Sculptor Subsidy for 2018, local WA artist Stuart Green.

Stuart’s work will showcase aluminium, in the form of a chaotic assembly of a cloud structure reflecting electrical storms both overhead and within our heads culminating in a visual splendour at Cottesloe. Stuart has been busy in the lead up to the Cottesloe exhibition not only preparing his work, Stuart is simultaneously completing an installation for the upcoming Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.

Visitors to Perth might be familiar with Stuart’s works at Elizabeth Quay, Perth Children’s Hospital and Railway Square Midlands.

As part of Alcoa’s support for Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe artists, material subsidies were provided to both Stuart and Jon Denaro & Luke Davey for their works in the Cottesloe 2018 exhibition.
