From small beginnings over 20 years ago, Sculpture by the Sea has grown into an international event that attracts local and international artists and inspires over 500,000 visitors a year in Bondi and 220,000 visitors in Cottesloe.

It’s not only an exhibition but an experience.
For over 20 years the exhibition has allowed artists access to the event providing opportunities to express their ideas, stories and cultural heritage.
The exhibitions allows local, interstate and international visitors to experience and be inspired by world class sculptures in iconic locations. Associated with each exhibition is a burgeoning education program that aims to educate and inspire thousands of students each year creating the next generation of artists and art lovers.

You can help support artists programs and keep the exhibition going as a free event for all.
Sculpture by the Sea has been a public and free exhibition for over 25 years. Staging sculpture exhibitions with vitality and excellence requires support from all sections of society.
Whilst we receive vital support from government, corporate sponsors and philanthropists, we need your support to keep the event going and continuing to provide access to the event for emerging and established artists alike.
