The Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 2025 iShares People’s Choice Prize of $10,000, as voted by visitors of the exhibition, was awarded to Ulan & Rachel (New South Wales) for their artwork titled ‘Ficus Maris’ and the Kids’ Choice Prize of $5,000, donated by Rebel Penfold-Russell OAM, as voted by the children visiting the exhibition was awarded to Dr Jason Christopher (New South Wales) for his artwork ‘Ode to Ancestors’.
Other awards announced were the Artist’s Pick, selected by the exhibiting artists at Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi, as Philip Spelman for ‘Cyan Forest’, as well as the Staff Pick, chosen by exhibition staff, awarded to Georgina Mills for ‘Unseen’. Keri Spooner, Deputy Mayor of Waverley Council, announced the Waverley Council Grounds Staff Pick, as ‘SOMA’ by Drew McDonald.
