The Alcoa Material Subsidy

Alcoa’s 11-year partnership with Sculpture by the Sea provides materials subsidies to artists featuring aluminium as their favoured metal to create inspiring artworks to exhibit at Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe.

The Alcoa Material Subsidy is dedicated to providing aluminium material support for a number of artists pre-selected to participate in the exhibition. This is a considerable contribution to the material costs of the artists, enabling them access to high quality materials to create work on a scale they may not otherwise afford.
