The Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe Education Program has finished our first week of Focus Tours, Artist Spotlight Talks and Artist-led Sculpture making workshops. Thanks to recent contributors Ayad Alqaragholli and Siahne Rogers for hosting their Artist Spotlight Talks, also Akira Kamada and Siahne Rogers for their amazing Artist-led Sculpture Making Workshops.

The Sculpture by the Sea Education Team also hosted a workshop specifically for teachers to develop approaches to sculpture making in the classroom. As you can see, it was a great success! Thanks to Coodanup College, Hale School, Churchlands Primary School, Divine Mercy College and Bull Creek Primary School for attending!

Next week’s program is set for more excellent educational experiences with additional workshops from local artists Sharyn Egan, Tom de Munk-Kermeer, Mikaela Castledine and Siahne Rogers.

We are also delighted that Prof. Leonardo Cumbo, Artist & Professor of Sculpture Techniques & Coordinator of the Sculpture Course, Academy of Fine Arts, Catania, Italy, will be joining us for education workshops next week.

We look forward to welcoming many more students and teachers from across Perth to the Exhibition!

Thank you to our Founding Sponsor and Significant Partner Alcoa for continuing to support the Cottesloe School Education Program.
