The GPS enabled app offers a free, interactive way for visitors to easily navigate around the Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe exhibition and discover details about the artworks, and the artists who created them.
The app is free to download and includes an interactive map, catalogue details of all exhibiting artists at each exhibition, stunning photographs, news and award announcements. The app also gives users the option to “like” an unlimited number of artists’ sculptures, creating a personal shortlist of favourite sculptures ready to be voted for in the EY People’s Choice Award.
ORIGINAL MUSIC: Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe has collaborated with the Perth Symphony Orchestra and invited selected musicians to create short five-minute improvisations inspired by five of the sculptures for the nineteenth Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe, held from 3-20 March 2023.
The music has been recorded and uploaded to the Sculpture by the Sea App for you to listen to while viewing the sculpture that inspired it. Thank you to the Perth Symphony Orchestra and to Jennifer & Christopher Rowe and Blue Ocean Monitoring for their donation to make this collaboration possible. You can also click here to listen to the five recordings.
Voluntary tax-deductible donations – starting at $5 – can be made directly through the app.
