Considering plastic bottles take up to 1000 years to biodegrade, the environmental impact is devastating.
Sydney Water agrees that the ocean is no place for millions of tonnes of plastic and that’s why they’re committed to keeping Sydney’s beaches clean.
Over a 20-year partnership, Sydney Water has kept visitors hydrated by providing over 600,000 litres of some of the world’s best drinking water; saving the equivalent of 1 million 600ml plastic bottles from ending up in landfill.
